At My Favourite Tutor, the safety and well-being of our students is our primary concern. All our tutors undergo rigorous Enhanced DBS checks and regular safeguarding training.

• Maintaining a safe online learning environment.
• Identifying and responding to signs of harm or neglect.
• Ensuring all communication stays within professional platforms.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

Consistency is key to learning, especially for neurodivergent students. However, we understand that emergencies happen.

Policy Details:

• Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any lesson cancellation.
• Late Cancellations: Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at the full rate.
• Tutor Absence: If a tutor is unable to attend, a make-up session will be offered or a full refund for that credit issued.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

How We Use Your Data:

• To manage your account and deliver learning materials.
• To provide progress reports to parents and Local Authorities where required.
• We never sell your data to third parties.

Terms and Conditions

By using the My Favourite Tutor platform and services, you agree to the following terms:

• Service Provision: We provide educational support through pre-recorded and/or live sessions.
• Payment: Fees must be paid in advance of the learning term or session.
• Conduct: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment or abuse of our staff.
